The Finnish concept for resilience, Sisu, in combination with my own personal experiences as an immigrant, has deeply influenced my approach to coaching.  Thus, my coaching approach is built upon a belief in our human capacity to learn, to succeed through challenges, and live and lead with purpose.

I always integrate the role of culture into my coaching.  I believe that understanding the culture where we spent our formative years holds the key to understanding ourselves.
